About the Shadow Boxes |
| Each custom shadow box is handcrafted from hardwood using fine woodworking techniques. The natural color and grain of the wood is enhanced by a clear finish for a smooth, satiny sheen. Choose from a variety of available woods; usually oak, cherry or walnut. |
| Choose a complimentary color of velveteen fabric for the interior backing, which provides a rich, finished look. Boxes have a glass front to preserve and protect your items from dust and a hanger is mounted on the back. |
| The items you send us will be securely mounted inside the shadow box. Flat items may be mounted on wood or acrylic bases - raising them to create dimensional look with more visual interest. We will work with you via email and phone to make sure you get the layout and details you want in your box. |
| Firefighters: we can provide the 2 lb. chromed-head axes & refer you to a craftsman for a custom-made leather presentation helmet shield. However, these items take extra time so you’ll need to pre-plan! |
