About Kent & Lucy Reynolds

We are both retired from the fire service in California. After starting as a volunteer, Kent worked 30 years as a professional firefighter. Concurrently, he obtained his contractor’s license and operated as a general contractor for about 20 years. Kent retired as fire chief of Gold Ridge Fire District in Sonoma County.

Lucy also started her fire service career as a volunteer firefighter and retired from Santa Rosa Fire Dept. (Local 1401) as a fire inspector. Our daughter, Cori, has been a firefighter with Santa Rosa Fire Dept. since 2006, and is a sales rep for ShadowBoxUSA.

In 2003, retired and looking for a way to blend our interests and skills (and for a way Kent could justify a woodworking shop), we decided to build handcrafted shadow boxes; resurrecting a small business venture we conducted years ago.

Although we focus on the emergency services, as a way to preserve the honor and traditions of these professions, we also create shadow boxes to commemorate family occasions and whatever else our customers can dream up.

We care about our work and it shows in our attention to detail and quality workmanship. We hope that our shadow boxes will become family heirlooms, telling your story to future family members.

Let us help preserve and protect your precious items. Please contact us if you have any questions or comments or request a no obligation price estimate.

We received the shadow box today. It looks amazing! We are not going to show it to him until his retirement party, so it will be a surprise. You did a fantastic job. Angela, Campbell Police Dept., California
